That's not really possible here -- whole books have been
written about such things, so without knowing what you
are trying to accomplish specifically we cannot really
tell you what to do.
You don't mention whether you mean an NT client or an
NT DNS server?
The former is easy, set the NIC properties. The latter isn't
much harder: install the DNS server.
Then you didn't mention if you wanted to support a "zone"
or "zones" (pretty much the same as a "domain" if you are
just getting started with DNS.)
Right click and add the zone (as Primary DNS server).
Right click some more and add records, but you don't tell
us what you want the DNS server to DO.
You might also need to "forward" and you probably need
to set your "clients" to point to your new DNS server.
Plenty of whitepapers and help at the Microsoft web site
