Can one use underscores in a domain name.
W2k_alsip as an example or does this lead to errors?

Thanks

Underscores can cause problems, Win2k can handle them so so (since the
subdomains for the AD folders all have underscores in their names) but
underscores are not a legal DNS character.

Just to add, make sure the AD domian name is NOT a single label name, such
as "W2k-alsip ". It should be more like W2k-alsip.com or W2k-alsip.net or
something. If it's a single label name, then you'll have even more problems.
You can use dashes.
