DNS MODE AD Itergrated W2K SP4
the value of both
Minimum TTL (Default),
and TTL for this record is 5 MIN
but when I chnaged of the host ip
and I wait not only for 5 min but for 50 min and I still
resovling the old IP
other clients who never resolve this host name before are
able to resolve the new IP
so It seems that TTL Value in DNS server Has NO effect on
client machine and till you flush your local cahce or it
expired you will be solving old name? I'm right or wrong?
what is the Registry key of DNS expire parameters
Thanks

I would Like to share the solution in case some one face
the same scenario..
I was wrong DNS TTL value in the server has effect on the
clients
Why I was not able to solve the new IP after TTL expired?
Answer:
The Default value of TTL in 60 Min when you install the
DNS server
my record was created when the default value was 60 min
Even after I change the default TTL value of SOA to 5 MIN
it will effect only new records not old ones
Thanks

Just an FYI, you can enable Advanced view and see the TTLs of the individual
records.
