My Windows 2000 DNS Server is failing the DNS NetDiag Test. Here is the
errors I am getting. Thomas is my Domain Controller running SBS, ISA, DNS,
RRAS, DHCP, and Exchange.

209.115.208.144 and 209.115.209.134 are my external IP Addresses for RRAS
10.0.0.15 is an AD-Integrated Windows 2003 DC running DNS
10.0.0.3 is a Windows 2000 Secondary DNS server

What is going wrong and what can I do to fix it.. Thank you in advance for
the help!

Hmm, it appears to be that you have a single label domain name (domain vs.
domain.com) I thought they fixed Win2k3 not to accept single label domain
names? Win2k3 will not register in a single label domain. THere is a reg fix
for Win2k but I'm not sure it will work on 2k3. Here it is: 300684 -
Information About Configuring Windows 2000 for Domains with Single-Label DNS
Names
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;300684&FR=1

Multihoming a DC and using a single label domain will cause you problems. What you may consider is to configure DNS to listen on the internal interface only.
Then on the external NIC, add only the internal IP address of DNS. Clean up all references to the external IP address in the forward lookup zone. Then follow
the suggestions for single label domains found in 300684 Information About Configuring Windows 2000 for Domains With Single-Label
http://support.microsoft.com/?id=300684. The title only references W2k, but it applies to 2003 also. Lastly, if the DNS zone for this server is stored on another
server that isn't part of it's active directory, make sure that the zone is configured to allow non-secure updates.
