A domain using a .local extension IS a FQDN but only within your local
Network. If you want your Network resources available from the internet, you
need to purchase a domain name set up a Public DNS server to point to your
network resouces using Public IP addresses that are on the public side of
your router you will NAT to the private IP of your service.
