DNS settings via DHCP

There is a setting under the 'Advanced TCP/IP Settings' in
WinXP called 'Append these DNS suffixes (in order)'. I
would like to be able to set this value in my DHCP server
so that all clients in the scope get the same setting. The
reason that I don't want to use a script to make these
changes is that half of the clients are MACs and I don't
know how to script anything for a MAC. Is it possible to
make this change in DHCP or am I looking for something
that can't be done?
Thanks in advance.

Append DNS Suffixes is intended to automatically append domain names to a DNS
request if the original request fails. For example, if you request machine1 and
that request fails, it will automatically add each domain suffix (eg
machine1.domain.com) and try them in succession. For an Intranet, it can save
typing, but for the average user it simply slows things down as it has to time
out on each attempt. Generally not a good idea.
