I have a small network, one server was NT4 PDC with
Exchange 5, one w2k server not a member of the domain
running a couple of applications. My goal is to add a new
w2k server running Exchange 2000 and get rid of the old
NT4 server. We upgraded the NT4 server to w2k, ran dcpromo
to install active directory. When DNS was installed on the
upgraded server we created a forward lookup zone named
after the domain. However the zone does not contain the
folders _msdcs, _sites, _tcp, _udp. I have deleted and
recreated the zone, made sure that the server is pointing
to it's self for DNS and stopped and started the netlogon
service.
Any Ideas
