I have a private domain and just bought a domain. I would like the new
domain to point to the private domain. How would I be able to do that?
Would appreciate your help.

Make the new domain's IP address resolve to the same address. However, if
the web site is using a host header it likely won't display in your browser,
you will have to add the host header for the new domain to the web site and
make sure all links are relative links.

Read Kevin's reply, but the key is that you can point
as many names as you wish at the same IP address.

Most apps don't care about the DNS name except for
those like HTTP which can use host headers but they
are generally (like HTTP) smart enough to overcome
that as the purpose of host headers is to give MORE
capability not less.

Also, you might use CNAME (alias) records in some
cases but there are occasionally problems with their
indiscriminate use.
