DNS running slow.

Is there any way I could check if there's any problem on
the DNS Server? We are experiencing some performance issue
on our DNS1 Server (slow respon when performing a DNS
lookup for internal IP), we have now moved all our PC on
our PC farm to DNS2 and have fixed the problem.

You can download Netdig from www.mvptools.com and see what its actual
response time is.
Does it have a forwarder and what is its forwarder?

No it does not have forwarder our DNS2 also have no
forwarder. Thank you I will try the tools
