DNS Resolver Cache

yes I have and it doesn't want to flush everything. This
problem is causing me to have problems getting to some
websites.
 
Ok.. maybe try this

ipconfig /registerdns

This refreshes all DHCP leases and re-registers DNS
names. After your initiate the command it will show you
the status in the event viewer in 15 minutes.

hopefully this will help. If you have already tried this
too i'm sorry but i am out of ideas, prob take someone
with a bigger brain than me!
 
yep, already tried that too, and it didn't work either. I
appreciate the help though.
 
I posted a problem an hour or so ago but it hasn't shown up yet so
just check this:

look in c:\windows\help for a file called "hosts" if it's there delete
it. There is apparently some way to write a file there that is causing
most of the DNS resolving issues everyone is having all of a sudden.
If you do a search for "hosts" there should only be 1 file in the
c:\windows\system32\drivers\etc directory....
and another one called "lmhosts"

Lemme know if that is the case with you as well.
