DNS Resolution

We currently upgraded our NT Domain to Active Directory.
During the upgrade we added a DNS Server to the
environment. Since then every time somebody hits a domain
address using the IE that is not resolved or simply does
not exist the browser is forwarded to the systems local
domain. For example;

Our domain: company.com
Browser URL: http://www.abc.org

If abc.org is not found the IE is routed to
http://www.company.com

How to fix this so if the user hits an unavailable domain
they should get page not found or reletive message.

This isn't a DNS issue. This could be either a IE configuration or a proxy server setting. Are you using a proxy server?

Thank you,

Yes we are using the ISA server.

ISA server is then the culprit. Check your routing rules and your Site and Content rules. On the action tab of either, redirection
can send the client to a differnt website.
