For some reason, ever day my dns servers have the same old
IP for a server which I made static a week ago. What could
be causing this record to continue to replicate with the
old address? I have 4 dns servers and I have to go in and
manually fix this record everyday. Thanks for the help.

Are you using Win2k DHCP?
Did the server have a reserved address in DHCP?
In a command prompt did you type ipconfig /registerdns and do you have
dynamic registration checked on the DNS tab of the machine?

The DHCP server is configured for addresses after the range
we use for our static servers/printers. This specific
server was setup using DHCP and later given a static IP,
afterwards a new DNS server was configured. Once the zones
replicated down to the new DNS server, I changed the IP of
the record to reflect the new static IP. I also changed it
on the other DNS servers manually. However, the old DHCP
address continues to replicate across the DNS servers.
Thanks for the help.

Did you check to see if the address was still in the DHCP scope address
leases? and what machine had it leased?

The lease was indeed still active for the server. I deleted
the lease. Was this updating the DNS records?

Is the zone AD integrated? It's possible that the record is replicated back to this DNS server through AD replication. The simplest way to fix this would be to go
to each DC and delete the record.

Thank you,
