Anyone had problems with their Win2k DNS servers not resolving names
on the Internet. For instance, it will resolve hosts internally but
if you try to ping or nslookup cisco.com or yahoo.com it fails. We
have not messed with it since we istalled DNS and at first everything
was working. At this point we are having to point our DCs to our BIND
servers for internet usage. My next step is to sniff.

TIA,
Phillip

Did you delete the "." Forward Lookup Zone?

You need to also verify if the Root Hint servers are resoled to IP addresses
on the Root Hints tab in DNS.
