DNS Problem

When entering multiple DNS server addresses into the
advanced TCP\IP properties only the primary server is
used for querying.

Is there a simple explanation for this?

well this is not entirly true as far as i knwo the
seocndary or tetriary dns servers are only queried if the
primary dns server fails to reply
 
So, what you are saying is that if the primary DNS server
cannot resolve the name and replies to say so, the
secondary and tertiary servers ane not queried?

Because this is exactly what is happening.
