DNS problem

Have a notebook running WinXP Pro that can't resolve
certain search-engines such as Google. Opens other web
pages with no problems.

Have tried running "ipconfig /flushdns" but when I
run "ipconfig /dislplaydns" there are still a stack of
entries. Has anyone else seen this weird problem?

Tks,

Hi Dave,

Check your HOSTS file in the \system32\drivers\etc directory. The entries
in this file get cached by the DNS client.
