Dns Problem?

Everytime i try to go to a website the first time i get a
page not found check dns settings. but if i click refresh
then the page loads. this happens on several machines with
clean installs. we have to dns servers on our network nt4
machnines. thanks

We need more info here.

Are you using forwarding? IF so, what forwarder are you using?
What SP is on the NT4 machines?
I assume this is not AD.

In IE make sure that the option to autodetect proxy settings is unchecked. Open a command prompt and type "NSLOOKUP".
This will connect you to the default DNS server. Try to resolve the name of a page you are having difficulty getting to. If this
works, type "server IP" where IP is the IP address of the other DNS server this client is pointing at in it's IP settings. Again, query
for the same record. Does this work? If not, you've got a DNS problem. If it works in both cases, then the problem isn't with
DNS.
