Or notifying itself of changes to a zone -- check Zone transfers for each zone, then the NOTIFY button. Look around for any setting that might point back to (one of) the address(es) of the same DNS server.

Look here: http://www.eventid.net/display.asp?eventid=5504&source= You can try a couple things, but depends on your config. Does this have two NICs? That will cause this if not configured correctly.
