Hi , have a couple of questions...

I have 2 win2003 DC's in my test environment. should the DNS on both, use
forwarders out to my isp or just the 1 running exchange 2003 ?

I'm wondering if i have my DNS using forwarders , do i need to have those
dns servers in the dhcp scope setttings for the clients to have internet
access ?

Thanks in advance...

Yes, all should be forwarding to ISP.

You mean you have your DHCP assigning your ISP's DNS?
That is a definite problem, you should only use your local DNS on all domain
members, no ifs, ands, or buts. Never an ISP's DNS in any position.

You don't HAVE to use forwarders, but if you want to, you should do it on
BOTH of your the DNS servers.

If you are asking whether you need to put your ISP's DNS server into your
scope, the answer is NO.
If you are asking whether you need to put YOUR DNS servers in the scope, the
answer is DEFINITELY

Your ISP's DNS servers should not show up anywhere in your internal network
configuration. The only place I can see you using your ISP's DNS server is
in the Forwarders configuration on your DNS servers, and that, too, is not
really necessary.
