When i cannot log in MSN messenger, i used their troubleshooting
service and they did a simple basic internet connectivity test. When i
reached the section on my DNS, i was told that my IP address cannot be
resolved. I also have problems accessing the internet. But my wireless
connection strength is strong. How do i go about fixing this problem?
Many thanks.

I would need more details to know for sure, but it is likely that the DNS
servers are not getting assigned by the DHCP server, or the DNS servers
being assigned by DHCP are not available.
In a command prompt run ipconfig /all to see if you have DNS addresses
assigned.
It is possible to statically assign DNS server addresses while keep DHCP
assigned IP address. Statically assign DNS servers 4.2.2.1 and 4.2.2.2 and
see if it solves the problem.

If the is a laptop that is a member of an Active Directory domain, your
network admin may have created a group policy assigning DNS addresses which
override the Network connection settings.
