Hello,
This is all on Server 2000. I have an existing network
with AD & DNS on a server I'm replacing. It's very
corrupt and mis-mashed I'm starting fresh.
Installed a new domain, AD & DNS on a new system. Put it
on the network and it doesn't see the internet. I
connect to the internet via a NetGear VPN router, which
is also the DHCP server.
In my network properties I have a static IP, gateway is
pointing to the NetGear Router and the DNS is pointing to
the server.
However, if I point the DNS to the ProGear than it works
but I'm sure I won't be able to do resolution within my
LAN if I have all the clients pointing at the ProGear
instead of the DNS.
Thanks.
