I have a Dell computer with Windows XP. My service provider is WildBlue, and
my computer is connected directly to the WildBlue modem (no routers used).

Several times recently I have tried to enter web sites and I get a message
saying:

"Network Error (dns_unresolved_hostname)

Your requested host "web site name appears here" could not be resolved by DNS.

For assistance, contact your network support team."

I recently downloaded the Windows Service Pack 3, and I believe I started
getting these messages after the download. Can anyone tell me what to do
about this? I tried disabling the firewall and that didn't make any
difference. I have McAfee virus scan installed.

Have you contacted you ISP for technical support? What did they say?
If you deactivate McAfee, does the problem cease or continue?

I did contact a forum group in WildBlue. Several of the people there tried
to get into the same web sites (www.azboatguys.com and www.girouxboats.com)
and they could not get into the sites either. I also emailed a friend who is
not with WildBlue and she could not get into the sites either. She kept
getting 501 and 505 errors. So it appears that the problems are with the web
sites and not with my computer or ISP. I did not try deactivating McAfee.

Thank you for your suggestions.
