DNS Name change

We have combinations of WIN2000 and NT servers and soon we
will migrate to Active Directory.
In the process of the migration, we will rename all our
servers including the DNS servers.
Though the servers will keep their IP's, will there be any
productional effect on our servers after renaming the DNS
servers?

Sure, mapped drives, printers, etc. Sounds like you need to test it first
with one machine, inventory any mapped drives, printers, etc, to this
machine and see what happens.

Not as far as DNS itself is concerned, but if you're using the server for
other things then you'll have to investigate the effect of those.
