Hello,
Problem is with my ISP's DNS servers. It would only resolve DNS for some
commonly used wesites, and 30% of websites wont open, or are redirected
somewhere else. As a result i have been using my secondry ISPs DNS, and works
fine, which shouldnt though.
I am looking for some free reliable DNS servers near me. Are there any such
servers available?
Thanks.

Have you considered contacting your ISP and letting them know of this
problem?

Sure you can run your own DNS server. Search Google.com or Download.com for
a DNS server that will run on Windows 2000 Pro - you should find several.

You can plug any dns server into your config and it will work. You don't
need to go looking for a "free" one.
