I have two networks intranet.bus & intranet.per. When I nslookup intranet.bus it resolves to an IP but to no avail with intranet.per. When
I add www to intranet.per and perform a nslookup it resolves to an IP. They both reside on two different segments of the network. I know
it has to do with the DNS but I'm not to sure where to start. Any insight would be very helpful.

You just need to add a blank host record to the "intranet.per" zone in your DNS server. This record will appear in Windows 200x DNS
mmc management console as "(same as parent zone)".

Just open DNS management, right-click on the intranet.per zone ... add new host, and put in the IP and leave the name field blank in
the dialog. (Do not check the "update reverse..." checkbox. Click OK and that should do it.
