Hi All,
Just in the last week I have started to have some strange settings
appear on my XP Pro and Win2k Clients. Not all but some are picking up
a DNS IP of 192.168.1.1, initially this was happening after the users
had logged on and it would change several hours later. All DNS
settings etc are handled via the DHCP server and all this is ok.
Our IP address range is set to 192.168.19.x etc.
Just this morning one client had everything set to 192.168.1.1 i.e. def
gway and DNS and an ip of 192.168.1.110.
I can't see what is happening, but suspect it is at client level as
Linux users seem ok. Latest updates on PC include.
KB887742
KB896422
KB896428
Has anybody seen this or get any ideas. By the way DC's are win 2k
with AD
Thanks
Gary
