Hei.
I am doing a test setup on server 2003 standard server.
This is the setup:
On the same pysical server i have inastalled Exchange 2003, Active Directory
and DNS w/reverse lookup. This is located behind A ISA server. I have set up
the internet dns records to point to mydomian.com
The problem:
E-mail seem to arrive at my domain without any problems. It also seems that
i can send mail any domain without any problems(tough I'm not quite sure).
But when I do a nslookup, the non-authoritative answer always fails. If I
would want to do a lookup for example microsoft.com the DNS answers with
microsoft.com.myadomain.com If I type microsoft.com. (with the dot at the
end) the DNS answer is correct. The DNS also answers correctly if i do a
lookup for any .org .net or .no anything besides .com
I have never seen this bahvior in 2000 server before.

Geir
