DNS help

I have a win2k network with and apps server and a mail server No Active
directory and about 20 workstations win2k pro. I also have a web cam. They
are all connected to the Internet by a fractional T1 and work fine. What I
would like to resolve is that to reach the wweb cam from outside the
building I use the ip assigned to it, to reach in side the building I need
to use the nated ip (192.168.X.X) what do I need to add to my DNS to be able
to just use the outside ip to reach both my mailserver and the web cam from
a pc on the network?

If I am understanding your question, there is nothing you can do to DNS to
allow you to use your public IP from inside your NAT device. Most routers do
not have that function.
If you are accessing these services by name you would need external DNS
giving out public addressesand an internal DNS giving out private addresses.
 
I understand your question differently than Kevin....

INet -- NAT-router--insideNet-WebCam

You need to do two things: Provide the NAT-Router EXTERNAL
address to the DNS (unless it already has that) AND "map the NAT-
router on some Port to the WebCam address-port.)

Not all NAT-routers can do this but ICS, NAT-Win2000, and Proxy/ISA
from Microsoft all can.
