DNS fails with additional IP

The DNS server on Win2K does not registeres its own additional IP dynamically. I added them manually, but after a while when the DNS undates its records, all IPs except the default IP dissapears. My network is subneted, divided into 10 different subnet (starting from 172.16.0.0/24 to 172.16.10.0/24), therefore the DNS should have additional IPs in order to be a member of each subnet. By the way I am using a Layer 2 switch based VPN, which is functioning properly.

Command ipconfig/all displays all the additional IPs (beloning to separate subnets) assigned to the Ethernet Adapter.

Thank you,
Rajesh

I believe it is correct for the machine to register only it's first IP
address PER NIC.
I have never heard of it removing a manual address.

Why does your server need to be a member of all subnets? By arranging
routes
it live in a single subnet and communicate with others. (Add manual
routes.)
