dns error

Hi, I keep getting the following message when trying access Grisoft:
Error: Host Not Accessible

The web host www.grisoft.com is not accessible.

Possible sources of this error:


  • The host name is invalid
  • There was a DNS error
  • The web site may be unavailable
  • You may not be connected to the internet
the DNS error is the only possible problem....does anyone know how I can fix this?

I am going to assume you are using XP and a LAN connection.

If it is indeed a DNS problem, first try using Run>cmd and input ipconfig/flushdns and press enter, then ipconfig/registerdns and enter.

If this fails to resolve then find out from your ISP an alternative DNS setting and go to Network Settings and click on your LAN Connection, then Properties>Internet Protocol>Properties>Select 'Use the following DNS server addresses' and input them manually and click OK.
