but i have my exchange 2000 server in my network. i try
to open the global address list,it is giving me error
global catalog not found,i cannot create any mailbox on my
exchange server.
can the reinstallation of the DNS Service on my PDC and

If your machine and Active Directory configuration and IP properties are
misconfigured, reinstalling DNS will not help. There are a number of reasons
why SRVs will not register, but we will need more information from you to
ascertain why. To better assist you, please post this information below so
we can diagnose why your SRV records are not showing up:

1. Unedited ipconfig /all
2. Name of your AD DNS Domain name
3. Name of the zone in DNS and if updates are allowed.

Thanks.
