dns error 5774

i am running a 2000 server and i am having problems with
event 5774 in the event viewer, its not caused any
problems yet, but i want to fix it. the knowledge base
said how to fix it but it did not work
 
Which knowledge base article did you reference? The main article for
troubleshooting these errors is this one:

What have you already tried and what is the description in the event?

Check those links JC gave you. Also keep in mind, using your ISP's DNS
address in your ip properties will ALWAYS cause this error. IF this is the
case, remove them (from your DCs and your clients) and only use your
internal DNS. Then configure a forwarder on your DNS for efficient Internet
resolutioon. If the forwarding option is grayed out, delete the root zone.
