DNS Dynamic Update not updating

I just installed Windows 2003 Server (Domain Controller)
w/ Active Directory.
All Windows 2003 servers dynamically update in the DNS
just fine after joining the domain, but none of the
Windows 2000 servers update their DNS information after
joining.

If I try ipconfig /registerdns I get this error:

Windows 2000 IP Configuration
Error: The system cannot find the file specified.
: Refreshing DNS names

And of course, the DNS info is not updated in the DNS
server.

Anyone know why?

Thanks,

JK

Mike, thanks. That was exactly the problem. I had
disabled DHCP on the Windows2000 servers months ago
because all servers were assigned IPs manually. Should
have searched the KB for the entire error message.
