Hi All,
Designing DNS in small environment is very simple. If I
think about how the DNS has been designed over the
internet. How the root server has been configured, how the
top level domains have been created?. I really wonder. I am
not getting any clue how they have built DNS?. I want to
have knowledge on implementing DNS in huge environment like
in InterNIC.
I have doubt whether to go for different zones for each
domain like one zone for .com domain, one for .net domain
etc or create subdomains in the root zone file.

Please help me.

Though automated and customized, and not using Windows DNS, that's
exactly what the large root servers do. A DNS zone/domain and host
records don't change just because there are a lot of them. Or they
are on a clustered system.
