I am in the process of using a weblog with Apache 2.0.47,
mysql, and PHP to get myself on the internet. I intend to
do the hosting myself and primarily will be using the site
to share info with family members.

However, I am trying to have two different sites for two
different families. I will be able to use ONE IP address
for the two sites and use VIRTUALHOST in Apache to do the
configuration.

My question concerns DNS. How do I configure two different
websites to the same IP address with the DNS?

Thank you all in advance

DNS is the simple part. Just create the host records for the names you want and point them to the same IP address. It's as simple as that. It's then up to the
website to differentiate via host headers.

Thank you,
