HI,
Last week i updated service pack 3 patch and the latest
update for blaster virus in Windows Advanced Server 2000.
ADS is on in this server. For 3 days there was no problem.
Now all client connecting through Win2k proffesional have
a problem in authenticating to the Domain. Atleast 20
minutes is taking to logon. For all the other users in
win98 found to be no problem in authenticating to the
server. Further i found in the Winnt Server/event viewer
this message...and after checking net I found support in
this link http://msdn.microsoft.com/library/default.asp?
url=/library/en-us/w2kmsgs/6166.asp

I tried the methods as giving full access..but no use...is
there anything i have to do... Thanks in advance for any
help regarding this......

Below is the message which I found in the event viewer...

"The event log says : event ID 4010 Description: The dns
server was unable to load a resource record from the
directory at xxx.zzzzzzzzz.yyy in zone...Use the dns
console to recreate this resource record or check that the
active directory is functioning properly and reload the
zone. The event data contains the error : 0000: 7b 00 00
00 {... "

Confirm that ONLY your internal DNS server is in ALL of your machine's
properties.

Usually long log on times, trouble applying GPOs, and many many many other
errors are a result of using your ISP's DNS addresses in your machines.
Justuse your own DNS server and set a Forwarder for Internet resolution.
This shows you how to set a Forwarder in this article below, look at Step3.
If the option is grayed out, delete the Root zone. The article also shows
how to do that.
