How do I make a notebook pc running XP display the screen
when it's hooked up to a DLP projector?

When running presentations through our LCd projector I
could change the settings to LCD under "display,
settigns, advanced, display device" . That doesnt'work
for the DLP projector.... Thanks !!

You will need to enable the second display...DLP is not LCD, so just use
standard TV output to your S-Video out, and use that connector. DLP is a
much higher quality signal than LCD, and does not have to be "dummied down".

I don't have an s-video out on my computer. The DLP came
with a composite out/composite in connector. (It's the
one with about 1/2 inch of pins on both ends of the
cable) That fits into my lab top and into the DLP. It
displays the presentations fine, but we can't see them on
the laptop screen. I can't figure out how to change the
settings on may laptop to make it display the
presentation....

Thanks for your input!! [no pun intended :-)]
