dllhost.exe

Henry Ayano

With dllhost.exe running in task manager, my antivirus
doesn't seem to detect virus infected files on my server.
Thus I decided to end the process using task manager but I
couldn't. error message: "task could not be completed.
access denied". I then used search files to locate the
dllhost.exe file and I'm thinking of simply deleting it.
What do you think?

dllhost.exe is a valid Win32 file so you don't want to just remove it from
your system. However the Welchia virus used a file called dllhost.exe which
was located in the winnt\system32\wins directory.

Do some more investigation before you clear our files wholesale.
