In XP, I have several files that have come up "missing". I have removed and reloaded Norton AV, XP Office but nothing works. The computer is slow, Corel WP8 that was a later load is not working correctly now and Norton AV will not let me do a cleanweep and has now actually removed cleansweep from the file bacause a .dll file was not found. All messages say reloading application may help. What application? I had them before and do not have them now. There have been no changes to the computer (ie: cold, location, etc.) in 8 months and this only started about 1 month ago.

The files it seems to be having trouble with DDRWA.dll; ddao35.dll; CS32.dll; cscore.dll. What are these files and how do I get them back? If I have unload and reload XP from the computer, will all other files be deleted that are not MS related or will they stay intact?

When you try and run/start an app, and you get an err msg refering to
missing dll then that dll is usually related to the app yr trying to run.
If you have a restore point on yr sys - see help, restore - then I would
suggest restoring yr pc to approx a month earlier, if that was the last
time it was running OK.
Several of the missing dll's you gave are related to Norton
If you havnt configured the cleansweep utility correctly you are likely to
have removed files you needed.- which may well be what you have done.
WinXP has its own 'cleanup' utility - Start/Programs/Accessories/System
Tools/Disk Cleanup
It is never wise to blythley uninstall/reinstall an App if you are having a
prob. unless you KNOW specifically that that will cure the problem.
You might also be advised to run the System File Checker (sfc) see help for
details
If a restore doesnt work;
Remove/Uninstall Norton then see www.symantec for details of how to remove
Norton from yr sys.
Run sfc
Complete the repair of one app before moving to the next!
In OfficeXP run the repair installation , ensure its functioning before,
Then repair the Corel installation, sys restore may have removed it.
Finally install Norton, ensure nothing else is running whilst doing this,
end any apps in the task bar
Update Norton
Good luck
