.dll files

Well if they are *.dll files from certian programs that
you have had installed just remove the software. Other
than that I wouldn't remove any Dynamic Link Library files
that you aren't sure what they are associated with but
like someone esle replied, press the delete key. hehe.
 
I did not install that program, it started coming up as
the default search engine when I open Internet Explorer.
I don't like it and don't want to use it. But I can not
delete that .dll file. I tried changing permissions, but
it does not seam to take. it comes back with message
saying - "cannot delete file: file access is denied. Make
sure the disk is not full or write-protected and that the
file is not currently in use"- I want this program
removed. Thanks for the help.
 
Have you tried removing it in Safe Mode?
