Hello,
I accidentally associated all .dll files to Cool Edit Pro
and I can't figure out how to restore it's,(.dll files),
default association.

Doesn't really have much of one (just search info and no Open With).

Type regedit in Start Run and (you didn't say how you did it)

Export
HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\.dll
and look at the default value and then

HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\<whatever the default value above is>

HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\DLLFile

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\FileExts\.dll

Possibly changing the default value you looked up to dllfile will fix it.

Probably best/simplest to simply re-install Cool Edit Pro ...
