I have 1 XP pc, 4 Win98 laptops and a Mac. Had all of
them on a network and working properly. Had to wipe the
XP hard drive and now I can not get it back on the network.
 
which machine can't get back on the network? XP?

you need to provide more details on which device is not accessing the
network, it's configuration and if possible more details on the layout of
devices.

e.g. all machines are connected to a a DLINK router ..etc.
