DLink DWL-650+ Not Recognized

I inserted the 650+ in a Thinkpad T22 before running
setup. New hardware wizard started up but couldn't find
the drivers. I cancelled the wizard and deleted the
Yellowed out 650+ in device manager. Then ran setup,
rebooted, inserted teh 650+ and now the new hardware
wizard won't start up.

Called DLink, we did a number of things including
restoring my system back to the day before I did the
above. No change, the hadware wizard will not start up
and recognize that the 650+ has been inserted, nor does
it show up in device manager at all.

The 650+ works in another notebook, and a different
network card starts the hardware wizard when inserted in
the Thinkpad. What do I have to do to get the new
hardware wizard to see this 650+ when it is inserted?
Thanks,
Quiller

No, the problem is that it dos NOT show up in device
manager at all.

Mine too - dead DWL650+.
It used to work fine, then Windows XP stopped recognising it and the utility
said no card.
Deleted all drivers and Windows XP clained it was a TI ACX 100 network card
!!

XP hardware recognition is screwed, suspiciously after installing latest
updates.
