If you are a carpenter or a woodworker, you have probably needed to
divide a particular length into a certain number of equal segments.
Simple enough, right? Well this program takes that one step further. It
not only does the simple division for you, but also tells you where your
marks are.

For example, a length of 9 feet 3 inches divided into 3 equal segments
would result in marks at 0, 3'1", 6'2" and 9'3". That's what this thing
does... gives you a list of the marks.

Being a *SMARTER than a computer program* carpenter, I'd have just 2 marks
.... at 3'1" and 6'2"

Not so, if you work with a long timber with rotten edges ;-)

What about the kerf? Your first piece will be 3/16" to 1/8" longer than
the other two. Or are you using a laser? ;-)

Politicians and diapers have one thing in common.
They should both be changed regularly...and for the same reason.

I hear ya ..... my point was simply that the program marked the very start
and very end ..... seemed hardly necessary.

If you did the measuring in metric the calculations would be much easier.
