Distrubution list.

I have a distribution list that I created. There are some people that I no
longer have contact with, hence I deleted them from my address book. However,
when I go to the TO: field and bring up the distro list, the deleted contacts
are still showing up. Is there any way to get rid of that, or was I supposed
to go about it anothor way since the contact was associated in a distro list?

You need to open the distribution list from within Contacts and remove the
incorrect members from it.
 
I suspect he did that already. Now he also needs to remove the DL from his
autocompletion cache.

Yes I have deleted the contacts. How would I clear the auto completion cache?
 
Remove individual entries from the autocompletion cache by highlighting the
entry when presented in the suggested names list (use your arrow key to
migrate to the entry) and then hitting your Delete key before you tab out of
the field.
