I develop an Access Database for several customers, some small, some
large. Some of my customers use SQL Server in their environment, and
have requested a SQL Server version of my dB. That in itself is not
hard. In fact, that in itself is complete. What I want to do is only
compile one CD per Release to mail out to my customers. I want to, and
have begun to, write a VB application that launches on Startup and
allows the user to install the update relevant to them, whether they
just need the standard Access update, or the SQL Server update. Anyone
out there know an easy way to write the application so that it is aware
what Drive the CD is in? I have been fragged lately, and I know this
should be easy, but I can't come up with it.
Any help is appreciated.
