I have a client using Outlook 2000 on a new Win XP Pro SP 2 computer and a
Win 98 installation.
The client did something to the Outlook 2000 installation on the Win XP
computer the other day. Now when mailing to a distribution list Outlook will
hang for about a minute when sending then abruptly terminate with no error
message or warning. When Outlook is restarted the message is still in the
outbox.
I've checked to see if any crash messages show up in the event manager but
there aren't any.
I can take the same contacts folder , via the backup utility, that contains
the DL and associated contacts, open it and send it on the Windows 98
comtpuer with no problems. This behavior leads me to believe that there is
some settings error in the Outlook program running on the XP computer. I've
searched for a solution but to no avail.
Any suggestions?
