Distribution List not updating

I am on a stand-alone version of Outlook 2003. When I delete a contact from
my Contacts folder, it does not delete the person from my distrubution lists.
How can this be done automatically?
In the same turn, if I change an email address in Contacts, it won't update
my DL.
Any ideas?

I don't think it can be done automatically.
In the same turn, if I change an email address in Contacts, it won't
update my DL.

DL management is pretty much a manual affair. Many people find using
categories more flexible.
