Distribution group

POP3 connector tool pulls mail down from ISP no problem. The mail is then
sent to a distribution group called mail. Two users are a member of this
distribution group. The email sent to the distribution group is then only
forwarded onto one of my users. I thought the distribution groups allowed as
many users to receive the same email. Is this correct?
 
If you send an email normally to the DL do both users get it? If not, then there
is something wrong with the group config because both users should get it unless
it was sent by one of the users in which case that user wouldn't get it.
