Distributing an Access 2007 Database

Hi, I am looking to distribute a database that I created to a few users, but
I would like to send it as an executable rather than database to protect the
database and allow non-Access users to use the database. Is this possible?
Pleases excuse my ignorance. I am still very new to this. Thanks in advance
for taking the time to respond.

There has never been an ability to convert an Access application into an
executable in any version of Access.

What you could do is package the application together with the Access
Runtime, so that users who don't already have Access installed could install
the runtime and use your application. The runtime for Access 2007 is a free
download at
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/...d9-9dc6-4b38-9fa6-2c745a175aed&DisplayLang=en
(plus you also need the Access Developer Extensions, from
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/...58-ECE4-4BEE-A844-F81856DCEB67&displaylang=en)
Note, though, that this is not a simple proposition (and some people have
indicated that they've found some issues with the runtime and are waiting
until the first service pack before using it in a production environment)

You will also want to create an ACCDE version of the file so the users
can't take it home, muck with the FE ACCDB on thier home computer and
bring it back.
