Distribute Columns Evenly

Does such a command exist in Powerpoint? (For use when laying out tables).
I use it in Word, but can't find it in Powerpoint. Any ideas?

Thanks.

Sue C,
You can do that if you use the table toolbar. Choose one of the last two
buttons, distribute columns or rows evenly. If you do not see the table
toolbar when you select the table, right click next to a toolbar on the top
of your screen and check the tables and borders toolbar.

Sorry, forgot to say, I'm using 2007. So nothing so straight forward as a
Tables toolbar for me. Any idea where I find this function in this version?

Thanks.
Sue

Sue.
As long as your selection is a table (or something in the table), you should
have the Table tabs available. There are two table tabs: Design and Layout.
Go to the Table Layout tab and click the Distribute Columns button. It kind
of hides itself, but you can find it in the cell size group. FYI: You can
distribute rows too. That button is just above the Distribute Columns
button.)

Sue,
Here it goes for PPT 2007.
Select your table, on the table tools contextual tab choose Layout tab, in
the cell sizze group there are two icons which let you distribute columns
and rows evenly.
Does that help?

Yes, thanks, didn't recognise the buttons - funny little symbols on them!

Thanks again.

Sue
